Ajala Jalingo And ANTP Alleged Embezzlement: EFCC May Wade In

Click for Full Image Size       This bloke, Akeem Olayiwola popularly called Ajala Jalingo, the Association of Nigeria Theatre Practitioners, and Lagos State Governor Chapter is a smart dude, give it to him for his high sense of mismanagement. If you can see it from our own point of view, nobody can really hold him responsible to account for ANTP money he’s said to have spent haphazardly. All he does, according to sources close to him is to spend the money his own way and he’s not questionable.

All the members of the executives in his cabinet, we learnt, are scare-stiff to work up to him for questioning, the reason being that, he has been able to buy their trust and they wouldn’t dare him. From the membership revalidation that was done recently, it was said that ANTP made more than N5m. The question now is what happens to the money?

Nobody knows, this has happened before and no one has ever raised any highbrow. This according to top players in the business is the major reason the treasurer of Lagos State ANTP voluntarily resigned. History seems to be repeating itself. In the EXCO meeting, Jalingo was said not to have mentioned a word on how to spend the money or what they want to spend the money on.

Close sources said that he’s been conniving and colliding with other signatory of the account to syphon money, the major reason ANTP, Lagos State governor seat has now become so hot that everybody is agitating to be on the seat, they know it’s a” legitimate” way of getting embezzling money while the EFCC looks the other way.
