Amaechi And Tinubu Celebrating Fashola’s Birthday

Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola recently celebrated his 50th birthday in a grand fashion with highly placed politicians and friends there to celebrate with himSuprise guest was Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi who has been having a well publicised feud with his party The People's Democratic Party
The embattled  might have found a new home with the members of the leading opposition party in Nigeria, the Action Congress of Nigeria, since his party, the Peoples’ democratic Party, PDP has tagged him a ‘bad boy’.
Amaechi along with Tinubu and other prominent Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN)stalwarts attended the palour party organised to mark the Golden Jubilee birthday celebration of Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola at the government house in Lagos
The roles of the opposition governors, especially the southwest’s in Amaechi’s emergence as the Chairman, Nigeria Governor Forum, where he polled 19 votes as against 16 votes of the PDP anointed candidate, Gov.Jona Jang of Plateau State, may not be unconnected with Amaechi’s current romance with the opposition camp.
The PDP, especially those in the camp of President Goodluck Jonathan has being at logger-head with the governor. The rift which has led to the abrupt suspension of the governor from the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party few weeks ago.
